Bullet Space

Bullet Space, named for a brand of heroin was originally squatted in 1985. In 2001 became the first of 11 squats to buy itself from the city for $1 in a deal arranged with the mayor and Urban Homesteading Assistance Board (UHAB). Bullet Space has historically been home to artists--projects done there over the years including Steal This Radio and Your House is Mine.
